Wellness & Clinical Conditions

Targeted treatment for specific conditions affecting your daily life and performance

01

Plantar Fasciitis

Inflammation of the thick tissue on the bottom of the foot causing heel pain and stiffness — often worse in the morning. Treatment includes active release technique, foot/ankle massage, and targeted physical therapy.

Foot & Ankle
02

Running Injuries

Highly sought after by Olympians and recreational athletes alike. We assess injury chains, release tightness and scar tissue, and use rehabilitative exercise to restore strength and correct faulty biomechanics.

Sports Performance
03

Shoulder Pain

Our team specializes in shoulder conditions from personal high-level athletic experience. Treatment combines massage, active release technique, sport-specific physical therapy, and shoulder mobilization.

Upper Body
04

Neck Pain

Common in people with stressful jobs, long screen hours, or car accidents. We address posture, tension patterns, and injury with massage therapy, active release technique, and postural corrective exercise.

Upper Body
05

Low Back Pain

80% of the population suffers from this. Regardless of origin, we evaluate your condition and build a specific plan using massage therapy, active release technique, mechanical traction, and spinal stabilization.

Spine
06

Hip Pain

Pain may originate in the hip or be referred from the low back — a thorough evaluation of both is essential. Untreated, altered gait and compensation create cascading problems throughout the body.

Lower Body
07

Headaches & Migraines

80% of headaches originate from neck structures. Cervicogenic headaches are very responsive to physical medicine. Treatment includes massage techniques, active release, decompression, and postural correction.

Neurological
08

Carpal Tunnel

Often misdiagnosed — the source can be the neck or shoulder, not just the wrist. A detailed examination determines the true origin. Treatment includes active release, chiropractic adjustment, and ergonomic guidance.

Upper Extremity
09

Poor Posture

The hidden source of many pain complaints. Contributing to low back pain, headaches, and neck tension, poor posture is addressed with chiropractic adjustments, active release technique, and personalized education.

Injury Billing

Auto accidents and work injuries billed directly — no out-of-pocket expense

🚗 Auto Accidents (PIP)

Many accident victims don't feel symptoms for weeks or months after impact. Do not sign anything with your insurance company before getting evaluated — once you settle, you lose the right to future treatment coverage.

We work with a network of medical doctors, attorneys, and therapists to ensure you receive the care and settlement you deserve. We bill your Auto Insurance directly with typically no out-of-pocket cost.

Required: Auto insurance info · Physician/chiropractor referral · Claim/case number

Billed Directly

🏗️ Work Injury (L&I)

If you've been injured at work, we coordinate with your referring physician or chiropractor to build a healing schedule for effective relief. Our therapeutic protocols have successfully returned clients to normal, productive lifestyles.

We bill your L&I / Work Injury carrier directly with typically no out-of-pocket cost.

Required: Open L&I claim · L&I insurance info · Physician referral · Claims manager name & number · Date of injury

Spending Account Cards Welcome

Health spending account debit cards are accepted. Please verify your account covers massage therapy before your visit. If a card fails, I'll provide an HCFA-1500 form for direct reimbursement submission.

FSA / HSA Tip

Letter of Medical Necessity

Many FSA/HSA plans require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) to prove massage is treating a specific condition rather than general relaxation. Ask your physician for one before your first visit.

Clients with PPO plans may pay the cash rate upfront and submit a Superbill (with CPT codes 97124 or 97140) for partial reimbursement from:

  • UnitedHealthcare (UHC) — Choice Plus and top-tier PPO plans with medical necessity
  • Aetna — PPO plans; many require service inside a DC/PT office
  • Cigna — When documented as part of an active physical therapy plan
  • Kaiser PPO Plus — Self-referred rider covering up to 40% for ~12 visits/year
  • Providence Health Plan — Fully funded PPO plans with rigorous medical documentation
  • Regence BCBS / Anthem BCBS — Alternative care rider; fixed copay for 12–24 visits/year
  • Moda Health & PacificSource — "Plus" or "AHP" employer plans with dedicated massage benefits
  • Compass Rose (UHC) — Federal employees' High Option plan; no specialist referral required
  • TriWest / VA CCN — Fully covered when authorized by a VA physician
  • Medicare Advantage (Part C) — Select plans include therapeutic massage as a wellness benefit
  • The "Under Supervision" trap — Some plans require billing under a DC or PT NPI; independent LMTs see these claims denied
  • Deductible barriers — OON benefits don't pay until your full OON deductible is met for the year
  • Third-party administrators — eviCore and ASH often require prior authorization every 4–6 sessions

Questions about your coverage? Proactively verifying your benefits before your visit is essential. Contact us and we can provide a verification script for calling your insurance company or help you format a compliant Superbill template.
